For many decades he penned quatrains every day for Pakistan's largest daily newspaper Jang. He was known for his unique style of Qatanigari (quatrain writing). He migrated to Pakistan on Octoand settled in Karachi. Abid Ali, Rais Amrohvi, Agha Hilaly, Syed Fakhar Imam, Faryal Talpur, Muhammad Yar Shah. Almost all the members of his family were poets.
